DeCourcey Art is the trading name of Philippa and Jayne DeCourcey, two established British artists, offering a bespoke service to clients wishing to own reproduction paintings of old masters yet retaining the originality and excitement of a real painting. All work is produced using traditional methods and materials. Paintings after the style of Monet, Van Gogh, Morrisot, Lautrec and Degas are amongst the works currently offered. Our market consists of private clients who commission us for individual requests, corporate bodies including Hotels, Restaurants, Banks and Board Rooms. Also Interior Designers with their own clients’ specifications. Works are not massproduced but rather prepared strictly on a commission basis with an initial deposit of 25 of price with order. Delivery of the completed painting should be achieved within 3 months of order, subject to workload. The timescale is in part dictated by the level of research required to fulfill each commission to the highest standard of quality demanded by our clients. Such research could involve, for example, the examination of the life and history of the artist and if possible close scrutiny of the original work. They have an established reputation and clientele world wide in both their own art work and reproductions. All images on the website are Our Own Actual Copies and not a photographic reproduction of the original master. Other Companies offering cheaper alternatives are usually imported from eastern countries and are invariably mass produced and can be of poor quality on receipt of purchase.
