So wrote one of our first customers and others have agreed The Light of Egypt was formed to bring the unique work of a talented group of artists to the attention of a wider audience. We have known the artists since we saw some of their Ancient Egyptian Art at a private viewing many years ago. Ever since, we have tried to persuade them to make prints of their inspired work available for sale. At last they agreed, and we are delighted to be able to offer you high quality, limited edition prints of twelve of their unique Ancient Egyptian paintings. Our paintings should not be confused with copies of Egyptian tomb paintings, or the papyrus art to be found on the Internet. These prints are facsimiles of completely original works of Ancient Egyptian Art. Each one is meticulously handpainted by contemporary artists who have made a lifelong study of Ancient Egypt, and tells a perfect story that can be read on many levels. Those of you who know something about the real Ancient Egypt will recognise the light within these paintings: a light that shines with the luminous colours of true inspiration.
