Dr. Fillmer Hevener is a human and animal portraitist who operates a fine art studio near Farmville, Virginia. He works in oil, pastel, and graphite, and photography. He paints from Photographs and Life. Hevener has presented numerous solo displays and has had individual works accepted for national and international shows. His many portraits include presidents, generals, and other historic personalities such as Winston Churchill, President Woodrow Wilson, Ross Perot, Douglas Mac Arthur, and President Dwight David Eisenhower.
