Lisa Venema is the daughter of accomplished artist and college professor, Dr Norval C Kern. Shes been creating artwork in the field of aviation since 1987. She left behind an intended career in Advertising Design as her portfolio of FA18 Hornet drawings developed while her husband was stationed aboard the Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro, CA. Limited Edition prints soon followed as demand grew for her drawings among F18 squadron members. It was a match within an aviation community that fell into place, extending to other aircraft and continued through various duty stations.
