I paint to inspire, to wake the spirit from its slumber and to remind myself of the splendor and beauty of life. My painting began many years ago upon my returned from a trip abroad. I ventured into the majestic mountains of Nepal where the skies are deep and the prayer wheels turn freely. Nepal is a place where you forget time and remember the simple way. Upon returning from my adventure I knew I was to paint. I decided when painting, to allow my innocence of spirit and naive form to grow and find their way into my art. I learned, over time, to accept the lines, colors, and ideas that shaped my way to art.
