Towards this end, scene sketches has three units: the photography gallery, a publishing arm and artist representation. We summarize each in turn. We gallery original photography by inspired contemporary artists, using technology to simplify the experience of discovering and buying art. We believe the traditional art gallery model is inefficient. Inventory is costly and any one gallery can only afford to show so many works. Even if you trapse all over town, your ability to see art is limited by the number of galleries in your town. Worse, the Law of Big Numbers assures that the art you love most is probably in some distant city. Shopping with scene sketches is different. We travel the world looking for emerging and established talent and provide you with a central way to puruse their work. We think youll agree shopping online has its advantages.
