Created and produced by Wall Kandy, the UnScene aims to find emerging artists across the country city to city. The tour launched in 2005 and has been traveling with the W Hotel chain since day one. We are all about emerging talent defined by anyone with an eye and a passion for photography. Most artists discovered by the UnScene have never had a show before and take pictures as a hobby hoping one day to be “seen.” Wall Kandy was founded by photographer Julie Chytrowsky on the foundation that original photography should be accessible to everyone who appreciates it creating a hybrid between gallery art and home decor. Hey, you never know who’s going to be famous one day. Wall Kandy sells original photography, some from the artists discovered in the UnScene, to buyers nationwide at affordable prices.
